Game Type: 

First person, adventure, exploration, mystery/horror/survival game.

Game Story:

You are Charlie, an alien investigator who has set up camp on Lunar Tides Island, a remote island that emerged from the sea. You have dedicated your life to the stars, and feel both the wonder and terror of exploring the possibility of extra-terrestrial life. Explore the island to find evidence of alien life. You are alone - or are you?

Controls:

  • WASD/arrow keys to walk around
  • Hold Shift + WASD/arrow keys to run
  • Press space to jump
  • Use the mouse to look up, down, left and right

Future Development Plans:

  • Restrict relaxing audio to basecamp, allowing for the inclusion of other audio effects and sounds.
  • Add specific player objectives, such as collectables. 
  • Fix terrain hole by cave and add additional lighting by end point zone.
  • Enable the player to enter the basecamp dome.
  • Furnish basecamp and add additional interactive/functionality features, such as log/recording equipment. 
  • Add additional scenes for the player to discover and explore as they unlock the secrets of the island. 

Recent fixes:

  • Player can now look up and down to view the night sky as per play testing and  user feedback (28/3/22). 

29/3/22:

  • Relaxing audio isolated to basecamp area and additional audio music added  on beach area.
  • Additional assets added to stargazing roof terrace (including radio) and buggy storage building/rood terrace sign removed. 
  • Player run speed reduced.

This actually felt relaxing more than anything.

Thanks for trying the game and for your feedback - I agree with that, it probably feels a bit too relaxing! I'd like to develop the game so the relaxing ambience just takes place in the base camp area, so there is opportunity for other sound effects/music elsewhere on the island.

Also just watched your stream and I really enjoyed the commentary 🤣 Well done on finding the Easter Egg!

Nice scene and background music which is fit the atmosphere. The mysterious game setting attracts me to find out the alien.
